Im doing a shoot for Sweet Delirium Jewellery tomorrow and its involving some of these beautiful bird wings, Im a strict vegetarian but I also do believe in appreciating the beauty of animals and I can understand the use of them in artwork and fashion if they have died of natural causes or are very vintage and nothing can be done about it. I am looking forward to doing this shoot because they are so well sourced and loved <3
“just to let you know these come from a bird sanctuary in Australia, from naturally deceased birds, and all proceeds from the sale of the wings goes back to the upkeep and improvement of the sanctuary”

From birds naturally dead and uses the proceeds to nurse the save-able birds back to health. Same story with the cat skulls. None are bought via eBay due to serious grey areas with methods they have been obtained. Mine come from another sanctuary, same story as the birds, though most cat skulls i use are replicas, hope that helps clear it up x

amesolitaire said: this is a genuine question of concern. what is your explanation of 'ethically sourced'? because for most people their answer is 'no animals were killed with the soul preppies of my work' which is seriously bending the truth. from a guess i assume your mink bones are from fur farms and you cat skulls are actually bobcat skuls from ebay (which come from trappers). *message to continue as only a certain amount of letters can be used

Hi, you run Amore di Mori right?
All of my skulls and animal parts are either sourced from local farmlands from birds and animals found dead naturally, shed antlers, and ones found on dead deer, and the wings come from an animal sanctuary in Australia. The woman who supplies… Cont…
